Watercolor Workshop for Garden & Nature Journaling

A journal can include thoughts, feelings, tangible joys and more. Topics fior this workshop will include birds, insects, flowers, plants, and anything else that Mother Nature provides.We will draw and watercolor our pages enhancing them with borders, lettering and any thing else that you want to add. Skills learned can then be used in any other sort of Art Journal – an Idea Journal, Gratitude Journal, Travel Journal, Bullet Journal, Garden Journal, Food Journal etc.
All necessary materials will be supplied (although you can bring your own materials if you prefer). The first 10 people to register will receive a clothbound watercolor journal.
Bio: Nora Robbins has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, specializing in graphic design. “I learned my profession prior to computer graphics, so I know how to get my hands colorfully dirty. Art, design and painting has been a life long journey for me since my early childhood. It has been my sole profession.” Her journey has taken her from a career in Boston in a design firm, and corporate design, to art director in book publishing, to her present career as a freelance graphic designer. Clients include: Simmons College, Sharpe Hill Vineyard, University of Connecticut, The Pomfret Times, High Desert Electric and Lighting, Eversource Energy Center at UConn among others.
Nora Robbins began teaching watercolor about three years ago and hopes to continue to do so, along with her design work.
