Build your coding skills!
The library hosts two sessions per year, one in the fall and one in the spring, usually for eight weeks. The coding language, platform and skill level varies but we aim to have it be suitable for both beginners and those with a little coding experience. Bring your own laptop/tablet, or use one at the library. Age range: 9-14.
(There will not be a bus from PCS to the library until further notice)
SPRING 2022
Girls Who Code (GWC) is back for second season!
“Girls Who Code is a national non-profit organization working to close the gender gap in technology. Our programs educate, equip, and inspire girls with the computing skills they’ll need to pursue 21st century opportunities.” A super inclusive and well supported program that requires no previous coding experience, it includes both online and “unplugged” activities that teach the concepts of coding in alternate ways to help everyone. Optional field trips are another fun perk about this club.
In 2021 the group meetings were held hybrid style with the option to attend in person or virtually. The manner in which we meet in 2022 will be deteremined by the group once we chat together 🙂 Meetings are generally held outside as long as weather permits.
Tuesdays, 4:15 pm
(3/29, 4/5, 4/12, 4/26, 5/3, 5/10, 5/17, 5/24)
