We’re excited to announce that Pomfret Public Library now has a bin to collect your used books!
Drop off your gently used books in the Bay State Books collection bin, located in the back of the parking lot. In the past, donated books were stored in the library attic and sold at our annual Friends Book Sale but we have lost our storage area until the building addition is completed. In the meantime, Bay State Book Company will keep your used books out of the landfills and put them to use supporting a variety of literacy projects.
The book bin is the newest addition to our collection of collection bins. With a stop at the library you can dispose of clothing, books, batteries and eyeglasses, plus donate grocery items to the TEEG Pomfret Community Market. Leave your grocery donations here anytime, we’ll get them to the Community Market on the designated Saturday collection day.
