Pomfret Public Library has hundreds of titles available on CD or MP3 player, some of them in our permanent collection and some in an ever-changing temporary collection, courtesy of the CT State Library.

Interlibrary Loan – Can’t find the audio book that you want at Pomfret? You can use our Interlibrary Loan service to order books on CD from other libraries in CT. Just follow our directions for placing an ILL request. Make the search a little easier by going to Advanced Search > Formats> and select ‘Audiobooks’.

You can also use your library card to download audio books from hoopla, Bibliomation’s Overdrive collection or One Click Digital through the CT State Library. Log in, search, download to your computer or device and enjoy!
