How Summer Reading works

  • Register any time after the last day of school and receive your summer reading folder.
  • Get ‘Book Bucks’ for time spent reading, for attending summer events, or for reading from either the Build a Better World bookshelf  or a 2018 Nutmeg nominee.
  • Record the time you read on your reading record.
  • Bring your reading record in to get stamped when you visit the library.
  • One hour reading = 1 sticker = 1 ‘Book Buck’
  • Spend your ‘Book Bucks’ at the Library Superette!
  • *When your log is full you’re done! *
