Silver/Petrucelli + Associates

The Building Committee will be working with the firm of Silver / Petrucelli + Associates to fine tune the design, develop a (post-pandemic) budget, and oversee the construction. Silver / Petrucelli + Associates is an architecture, engineering and interior design collaborative with offices in Hamden and New London. They have completed project assignments in every county and nearly every town and city in Connecticut, with a geographic reach that includes Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York and other mid-Atlantic states. Evelyn Cole Smith Architects

Our conceptual design was developed by Evelyn Cole Smith, a local architect who specializes in Historic Preservation. The Library Board of Trustees and Exploratory Building Committee felt it was imperative that the addition fit the existing building and neighborhood seamlessly.
